Which winter fabric should you buy?

The three that matter most in a Pakistani winter behave quite differently:

• Dhanak — the softest. Brushed, warm and light on the shoulders, and the easiest to wear every day.
• Karandi — textured and structured, with more formality in the drape. Good for occasion wear.
• Khaddar — a denser woven cotton, matte and traditional. The warmest of the three in genuine cold.

When winter suits go on sale in Pakistan

New winter collections land from around September and run through the season. Real clearance arrives later — roughly December into February — but by then the strongest designs and the mid sizes have usually gone. Buying reduced stock early in the season is the sensible middle ground: you get the discount without the picked-over selection.

Stitched to your size

Winter suits are worn over more layers than summer ones, so fit matters more. Every suit here can be stitched to your measurements for Rs.1,500–2,500 — tick Get It Stitched on the product page and choose a standard size (XS–XL) or send your own measurements. Stitched orders dispatch about two working days after unstitched ones.

Caring for winter fabrics

Cold water, gentle cycle, and dry in shade rather than direct sun. Heat is what flattens brushed fabrics like dhanak and shrinks woven ones like khaddar, so skip hot washes and the tumble dryer entirely. A cool iron on the reverse is enough for embroidered panels.
